Cannot achieve position estimation when working with DWM1001-DEV and DJI mini 2

Hello everyone,

I apologize if this is a simple question, but I couldn’t find any information about this issue. I’m trying to test a DWM1001-DEV setup (PANS 2.0) with a tag located on a DJI Mini 2. As soon as the DJI Mini 2 is turned on, I stop receiving the position estimated by the tag at a listener. After investigating OcuSync 2.0 (2.4/5.8 GHz) and UWB Channel 5 (6.5 GHz) channels and bandwith, i don’t think it is an interference between the communication system of the DJI Mini 2 and the DWM1001-DEV, but I’m not an expert in this field.

I would like to know what could be the cause of this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

there are a couple if’s and it is hard to say what went wrong. First of all I would try to power it from independent power source. If it does not hell then we should look after the RF. Even it they are not transmitting at the same frequently the UWB antenna might catch the 5.8GHz which can flood the DW1000 with energy (oversaturate the receiver) so it is not bale to receive anything - in this case try to put the DWM1001C to some else place.
