Hello qspice i have been trying to model a Toshiba 2SC5200 and the pnp equivalent what is the best way. Very frustrating i have found models in the diy audio forms and one form other sources but the results i get when i do a .dc and write the syntax the results dont match the datasheet. The syntax says. .dc v1 0 230 0.1 IB 0 1 10m
Ib is the source for the base and v1 is on the collector . And where is the best place to edit the parameters.
Thats similar to what i was getting but still doesnβt seem to match the curve
Ill try your example with my model appreciate it very much
Thanks so much i have it set up like the first example and works great im comparing multiple 2SC5200 models i have found and some others types as well thanks for your expertise.
@bordodynov : may we know what tool you used to create the new model?
It was not me who made these models, but I made many models of bipolar transistors, including germanium transistors. I used LTspice, my knowledge of what spice parameters and reference data affect. Sometimes I have experimented with real transistors to determine the capacitance and resistance of the base. I used Ltspice for testing and used a dumb parameter selection method. I extracted some parameters purposefully. For example, VAF and quasi-saturation parameters and is, ise, ne from graphical diagrams.
