AoA fluctuation in qm33120wdk1

Hi,

I am doing AoA measurement inside a chamber using the qm33120wdk1, but the AoA fluctuation is very random after auto calibration on GUI. I would be glad of any help reaching a solution or the reason behind it. An evidence is attached.

Best regards.

Someone more experienced with UWBs may be able to provide a better answer, but you will almost always have some (pun-intended) degree of noise involved with measurement hardware. By your attachment, it appears you are within plus/minus .05 degrees, which is pretty good for a lot of applications (though I do not know your use-case).

Hi @EEREEN ,

It is expected to have fluctuations in the AoA readings as @Joshua_Bays indicated above. You can perform averaging by collecting a certain number of samples to have a more stable AoA readings but it would reduce your measurement frequency.

What is your requirement in your application for the AoA readings?

Kind regards,
Emre

Hi @Emre,
My first goal is to understand the accuracy level of the kit, and I am trying to get as precise as possible. Thus, I was wondering if the fluctuation is unusual, and how many samples. I use CLI mostly to get the values, but for angle calibration, the number of calibration attempts vary.
