Please help. I have a beacon in the form of a wearable bracelet and a tag in the form of a bracelet with a screen. The beacon bracelet should show the distance to the tag and the direction. What chips can I use for this implementation? As far as I understand, I need the AoA 360 function, but it is only implemented for the QM35825. Can this SoC be used with an STM microcontroller? Perhaps you can suggest a simpler chip that can implement the AoA 360 function and still use the STM microcontroller as the host. Thanks in advance for your reply.
@Art_sh82, indeed 360 AoA is one of the features on the QM35825. It is an SoC operating as a UWB Subsystem defined by FiRa (UWBS) that can be controlled by a STM MCU or other MCU or MPU.

Other chips technically can do 360 AoA but this requires at least 3 antennas so you need to transmit long enough frames to switch and sample and on each antenna.
We’re interested in using the QM35825 with an STM microcontroller (MCU), and we’re looking for sample code implementing the AoA 360, as well as a sample antenna for the QM35825 for the AoA360.
How can we get technical advice and purchase the code/debug kit? The existing QM35825 kit is too redundant for us.

Hi @Art_sh82, please reach out to your local sales representative from my previous post to discuss further on the QM35.
Hi @Art_sh82, have you had any progress on this? I’m working on a similarly project and wold love to find out more.
Hi, there’s been no positive result. I contacted tech support, described the project, and then nothing. We have a fairly large project and little time to wait. We’re currently in contact with NXP.
