Anchors and tag positions completely incorrect!

Good morning to everybody,

I have some problems with my DWM1001. In particular I have a system with three anchors and one tag. I set the three anchors like a equilateral triangle to which I manually assigned the coordinates. However, when I go to read the coordinates of the tag, they are completely wrong. How can I solve it? I’ve also already tried resetting everything and starting again but it still gives me the same problem. I also tried the auto positioning by defining an initiator and then ordering the other anchors counterclockwise, but the application sets the coordinates completely wrong, even by a few meters!! How do I solve it? thank you all.

Hi Valeria,

How do you configure the coordinates ? You can use either the application and it will set them through BLE, or you can directly configure them on the serial interface.

Is there a chance you’re not setting coordinates correctly relatively to your real environment (they should be in format x, y ,z, relatively to one anchor which will be 0 0 0).
