3 sigma current distribution plot for the CMD271P3 amplifier over production lots

trying to find out the bias current spread for the CMD271P3 amplifier biased at 5V as the data sheet only mentions a typical value.

With 5V supply the bias current will typically be 66mA, minimum of 46mA and maximum of 86mA. See electrical specifications table on page 2 of the CMD271P3 datasheet. If you need more information on the distributions then please contact appsupport@qorvo.com stating your company name and location.

thanks, what would you expect the bias current ranges to be at 3V, and 4V, drain voltage where the data sheet provides a typical value only? also how would the change in current impact the IIP3 performance.

The current is only tested in production at 5V, so no distributions available for 3V and 4V. I’d expect about the same percentage change in current at the lower bias voltages. IP3 is not tested in production, so again hard to give exact detail on how OIP3 would change with the bias current. I’d estimate +/-3dB change in OIP3 over the range in bias current of +/-20mA.
