Use init state to minimize power consumption

Hi,

I am developing an application based on the dw1000.
I read in one the application notes that we could use the init state of the chip to minimize power consumption between two action when we d’ont have time for a sleep (< 4ms).

From what I understand, to put the chip in init state for a specified time, the only way is to use the snooze functionnality of the low power listening feature. But this mean you have to try a reception before going in init state.

Is anyone using init state to minimize power consumption and could help me understand the procedure?

Thanks

Has anyone
