Use in multiple networks

Hi,

In order to understand which floor and where Tag is located, I would like to measure the Tag position by providing one network for each floor of the building. Is the attachment possible with the configuration diagram?

1, Can the three networks operate without affecting each other?

2, Listener can receive location information even if it does not participate in the Network, can Tag be able to locate without participating in the Network?

3, Is there a way to know from which network the position information acquired by the Listener comes from?

Thanks in advance.

Hi DongJiang,

1. In the release 1, there is no network filtering, and consequently coexistence is really hard. It will come with release2 and you will be able to have several network sharing the same physical space. One point to understand is that as the network will share the air, the UWB capacity will also be shared by networks.

2. The fact listener can receive location data from network they don’t belong to is due to the fact Release 1 is not handling network coexistence. It will be fixed in Release 2. A tag will not be able to participate in a network if it doesn’t share the same panId.

3. Well, in release2, any device will provide information from its network only. The panId indicates which network a device belongs to.

Thank you,
Regards

Hi Yves,

Thank you for your reply. We expect Release 2.
I will try these functions if it comes out.

Best Regards.
