With automatically generated symbols, the pins on the right side are displayed unusually, they are in reverse order. With 8-pin ICs, you are used to pin 8 being opposite pin 1. This is not a bug, but rather a cosmetic problem.
I find the idea to generate symbols from the model data great.

It’s the same here as LTspice. You can rearrange the pins later (that’s what I do). The second option is to rearrange the pins in the model text and then attach (generate a symbol) the element.

By knowing this pattern, you may use @bordodynov 2nd option by firstly rearrange the pins in the model. Same as bordodynov, I normally rearrange the pins later.
