Hi , the velocity is a little too high, but we have not validate out DW1000 in such kind situation yet.

This if for aviation application
as for the height measurements, the only dw1000-based implementation in my minds consists of two directed antennas, two dw1000 ICs with synchronized clocks and the intention to analyze second ICs’ accumulation buffer… Not sure whether its a feasible setup or not, but if so, the accuracy will not hit 30 cm watermark anyway with sample rate something about 2kHz. R&D & prototyping will take couple months and some budget.
