Reference time of the Accumulator CIR memory

Hello all,

I am trying to understand the accumulator memory. I would like to calculate the arrival time on my own, hence, detect the first edge, peak, etc. based on the CIR. Currently I am able to access and read the accumulator memory, however, I don’t understand the timings. The samples are spaced with roughly 1 ns. What is the reference time? What is the time of the first sample in the CIR memory? Currently I am using a two way ranging method, where I would like to access the CIR on the tag side.

Thank you in advance for any help.
