Measure The Power Spectral Density

Hi, everyone. I want to measure the Power Spectral Density with a spectrum analyzer. I don’t know which code to use, the ex_04a_cont_wave

or the ex_04b_cont_frame or anyone? I can’t understand the difference between them.

Here are two pictures, I use the ex_04a_cont_wave and I measure the Power Spectral Density with a spectrum analyzer. But the bandwidth is

113KHz and 2.2MHz. Can someone help me out? Thanks a lot.

Hi,

You’d need to use continuous frame mode for your spectrum test. 04a_cont_wave shall/could be used for crystal trim
This is explained in the IC user manual section 8 DW1000 Calibration.
The use of continuous mode is also highlighted in APS023 part 2 section 3.2 (page 6).
APS023 part 2 also describes the analyser setup.
Further more our IC datasheet shows the spectrums for all the channels
