In several youtube videos including the QSpice auther; they used the attached image of a list to import components. Can you please help me with the link to that list.
I need the text format of that list to import components.
Are you referring to this link? : Spice Stuff (uncg.edu)
Yes and thank you for the link.
I thought the list is much longer.!!!
I wonder where I can find a full list with the common parts that QSpice does not have???
Goto this link, what you must have is four libraries under the sub-title “An LTspice Standard Library Replacement”.
Components Library and Circuits - LTwiki-Wiki for LTspice
And of course, electronics web page by @bordodynov
Bordodynov’s Electronics web page
pnpmy.txt (226.4 KB)
npnmy.txt (318.5 KB)
Place these files in the system folder. Put a transistor on the circuit. Go to the properties of the symbol. Change npn.txt on npnmy.txt for npn transistor or also similar for PNP transistor. When you right-click on it, a menu will appear with the option to select a transistor from my file.
I would like to thank the forum community for such support. This is giving me a great push to persue such important side of electronics.
One day I hope we will be able to a place a search for for this magic text ( .model …) And get a response. I think due to marketing reasons, every manufacturer has his own way, but the nice of it ; is we have a common standard and that is great.
