In the power section of the DWM1001 schematic, there is a non-populated part which I gathered was a buck/boost converter (TPS63036 was suggested in another post) to provide the 3.3V supply.
What isn’t clear to me is why the enable would be tied to “DW_EXTON” - would this not have the effect of having the DW1000 completely shut itself off if the part was populated? And how would it ever be turned on?
Of course, since its not populated, it has no effect. But I was wondering what the thinking was here, or I have missed something? I suppose if the converter has a pass-through mode when disabled, something like this might work if the battery voltage is high enough (>2.8V),
