custom message via uwb

hey there,

is there a way to send custom messages including non localization related information from tag to tag?
I would like to use UWB to transmit setup information, so I dont have to use BLE.
Does any one know what the mbox functions in the dwm.h library are for (e.g. dwm_mbox_create(…)). Somehow I could not find any documentation that tells me, what a mailbox in this context could be.

I presume you are talking about PANS FW / DWM1001 product.

In Release 2 you will be able to send data from nodes up to the “cloud”. And from the “cloud” down to the nodes.
