Connect DWM1001dev via serial UART

Hi,

I’m not able to find the DMW1001dev board when plugging it via USB to my laptop or Raspberry Pi 3B. On my laptop the COM port is not detected, and on the RPi the ACM0 serial port is not detected. I think this has something to do with getting the UART API out of ‘sleeping’ mode. But I am not sure how to do this.

Hi, ok, good that you have chosen the Pi 3B. Have you looked at the Gateway Quick Deployment Guide document? You have to put the DMW1001C into Shell mode, this could be your issue.

Thank you, I solved it! I had something to do with the USB-cable which I was using.
