Can DWM1000 be used underwater?

Hello everyone,

If I make a waterproof container to protect the DWM1000, battery, and other components, can I use them underwater for measuring distance?

Not in any meaningful way. Water is very good at absorbing high frequency radio signals, the usable range will be effectively zero.

Thank you for your answer. I conducted a test and found that the depth was less than half a meter.
